Dear Grade Six Parents,
Thank you for volunteering to drive and supervise during our Victoria trip.
Virtually everyone who volunteered is needed in some way. Thank you for offering to help!
After a great deal of juggling, I have made driving groups and supervision groups. (see attachment) If you notice an error related to your availability/ number of seats, please inform me as soon as possible. If you are not on the list and think you should be, please let me know.
In some cases, parents indicated on their forms that they were able to volunteer only if needed. If you are one of these people, I have added you as back-up drivers (to be called only if another driver has an emergency and cannot drive) Hopefully this will not be necessary! Thank you for offering to help despite your hectic schedules.
Please see the attachment for details. I will print a hard copy of all these papers for each of you, along with a student emergency package, when I see you on Tuesday.
If any other parents want to come with us as supervisors- you are welcome to do so. You will not need to pay for anything. We have the bare minimum number of supervisors but could use a few more eyes and ears. Thank you for letting me know.
