Dear Grade Six Parents,

We are pleased to announce the students who will represent the Grade Six class at The Intermediate Tri School Speech Arts Festival next Thursday.

Jessica Agregado and Alison Lee  promise to make our school proud during the Poetry competition.   Nikka Adrias,  Jordan Tuazon-Cabido, Natalia Lupynis and Rianna Talento will no doubt impress the crowd with their storytelling talents.  The Tri School Speech Arts Festival will be held on Thursday March 6th at St. Joseph The Worker School.  If your child is involved in the competition you will receive notice with the times for each Speech Arts category.

Congratulations go out to all of our Grade Six finalists who made it to the In- School competition today in the church hall.  There is no doubt their quality presentations made judging a difficult task for today’s adjudicators.

If your child opted not to present his or her poem or speech in front of the class, please be advised that they will be asked to  present it to me on Friday or Monday, as Speech Arts will be used as part of their mark in Language Arts.

Thank you for supporting your children’s participation in Speech Arts and helping them develop public speaking skills that will serve them well in the future.

Sincerely,

Ms. A. Phillips
