Dear Parents,
Attached, please find the rubric I will be using to grade the _Maniac Magee_ projects. Students have been given class time to work on the projects for the last week and should be continuing to work on them at home.
Thank you in advance for helping your child refer back to the green project description handout (posted on our blog last week) to make sure he or she is on the right track. In addition, you can help your child succeed by looking at the attached rubric and helping him or her self-evaluate and improve the project. If you have any questions about the project please let me know.
I will be reading over the students’ rough drafts next week to give further feedback and help.
