Dear Parents,
Pioneer Day will take place on Friday, April 1st. All the Grade 3s are asked to come to school dressed up as a “pioneer” and have a “pioneer” style snack/lunch.
Snack/Lunch Ideas: no plastics, lunch containers can be baskets, metal buckets, or wrap the lunch/snack in a tea towel, tin cup which they can use to fill with water to drink instead of a water bottle.
Dressing up Ideas: jeans, overalls,vests, suspenders, long dresses/skirts, shawls, shirts, straw hats, big bows, aprons
Please do not buy anything special for this day. The pioneers were great recyclers. Any questions or concerns, please contact me.
