As I mentioned in class last week, the Grade Seven students will be participating in an in-class field trip this coming Thursday, March 5th. Mr. Steve Knight, a retired teacher (he taught me Grade Six) and a talented artist, will be running a religious iconography workshop for the students. I am sure the day will prove to be a wonderful experience, as I have seen samples from previous workshops run by Mr. Knight. The cost of the workshop has been subsidized thanks to a generous grant from the Parent Support Group, and the final cost will be $10 per student. Please send the fee with your child to school this week. Students are also required to have an art smock for the day (an old shirt will do!) Thank you for your support.
