Hello Parents,
It has recently come to my attention that the homework calendars have not been sent home yet this year. I apologize. I had some technical difficulties downloading them at the beginning of the school year and then I simply forgot all about them. I do, however, think they’re great if you’re looking for some simple little activities for your kindergartener to work on in the afternoon or on a rainy Saturday. I was able to download them today and you can look for them in your child’s folder on Thursday.
While I have your attention, remember that tomorrow we have class from 12:30pm-2:00pm and then again from 6:45pm-8:00pm. Since we won’t be in the classroom long you don’t need to send your child with a backpack or a snack tomorrow. They can come to school wearing whatever you’ve decided they’ll be wearing for the performance. If you get a chance, please label their hat or headband (you can just use a little masking tape) so we don’t lose any. The kids are so excited and we’re quite proud of their effort and enthusiasm, we know you will be too.
