Dear parents,
As you may know, the Grade Six class has been working on paragraphs for their hero poster projects for the last two weeks. Students have had some class time to work on their notes and rough copies and have completed them for homework.
I will hand back the rough drafts this week so the students can put them into typed “good copy” format by Thursday.
Your child should have a pink Hero Project Outline in his or her homework folder. For your convenience, please find an electronic copy of the outline attached.
On Thursday November 5th, I will give the class time to glue the good copies of their paragraphs as well as pictures of their heroes onto poster papers provided by the school.
Please note that the projects are due in their completed states on Friday, November 6th. Students may need to put finishing touches on their posters at home on Thursday evening if they have not been able to finish them in class.
Thank you for supporting your child in the completion of this project. Hopefully it has been a worthwhile and inspiring assignment for them!
