I wish you and your family a blessed, healthy and happy new year. First of all, I would like to extend my gratitude to all of you for your kind words, cards and gifts throughout the Christmas season. I feel very blessed to have such a lovely class and supportive parents.
Next, I must apologize for sending your child home with ‘blueberry’ stained hands. The children had alot of fun with the coloured tissue paper and water art project on Friday. Most of the projects are finished and up on the hallway by the Grade 3 classroom and they look fantastic!
Also, this Wednesday, the Gr. 3 and Grade 1 classes are going skating at Minoru from 1-2:00. Please feel free to join us if you enjoy skating. We are leaving the school at 12:30 to give time to lace up skates. All parents who volunteered to drive, please join us. I am still waiting on a few more skating permission slips which I hope to receive tomorrow.

We’ve had a great start the 2016.

Sincerely,

Vilma Macdonald
