The Grade Six students will be writing a Science test next Friday, October 14th. The test is on living things, cells, and microscopes. Today, I gave the students a written outline of the material they would need to study. Most of the information they will need to review can be found in Chapter 1 of their textbooks.
We will be completing some review activities in class, however students should certainly plan to study on their own as well. I often tell the students that they should practice “active” studying. Writing notes, drawing diagrams, and discussing the material they have learned with other people are great ways to prepare for a test.
I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!
