Dear Kindergarten Families,
We hope you are enjoying this lovely Thanksgiving weekend! Life in Kindergarten is going very well. We all seem to have adapted to All Day Kindergarten very well! The children attended their first School Mass last Friday. Their behaviour was excellent! The K’s sat with their Grade Four buddies during Mass. I am sure that you heard Zero the Hero visited us again. I trust you received the letter (with the lifesaver attached) explaining Zero the Hero. It is a great way for the children to learn how to count by 10’s! On Friday we sent home a copy of our Morning Prayer. I asked your child to teach you the prayer with the actions. It is a beautiful prayer. On Tuesday October 11th the k’s will be making applesauce. If you have one apple at home to send with your child that would be great. Any variety will do. Please do not worry if you don’t have an apple to send. We will have plenty. A reminder to send a tea towel in your child’s lunch. They use these as a placement when they eat.
