The Grade 6 students are nearing the end of their second Math unit of the term. As several distinct concepts have been covered during this unit, I have broken the test into two parts to allow the students to focus their studying. The first part of the test, on multiples, factors, prime numbers, and integers will be next Tuesday, October 25th. The second part of the test, on order of operations and unknown numbers will be on Thursday, October 27th. The students will complete several review sheets in class and at home to help them to prepare.
The test covers several concepts that were new to some of the students in the class. The students are strongly encouraged to speak with me if they are having any difficulty.
