Dear Kindergarten Families,
Yesterday your child brought home an invitation for their Teddy Bears (sorry no parents this time) to join us at school this Friday (10th). This is a regular school day but we will be having some fun as we near the end of our “Bear unit”. Your children have learned many facts about Black, Grizzly and Polar bears! Ask your K child where these bears live, what they eat and what they can do!
This Friday we will count our Teddy Bears, Sing to them, Sort and Graph them, Read to them and have a snack with them. In the afternoon I will be serving “Teddy Bear Picnic Spice” (cinnamon and sugar) on toast. Please let me know ASAP if your child is not allowed to eat this. I will be getting whole wheat Dempster bread.
If your child does not have a Teddy Bear they can bring their favourite stuffed toy. I will be bringing my favourite bear too!
