The Grade Seven students will be participating in an in-class field trip this coming, Tuesday, March 7th. Mr. Steve Knight, a retired teacher (he taught me Grade Six) and a talented artist, will be running a religious iconography workshop for the students. The Grade Seven class participated in this workshop for the past few years, and it was a wonderful experience. The cost of the workshop has been subsidized thanks to a generous grant from the Parent Support Group, and the final cost will be $10 per student. Please send the fee with your child to school this week. Students are also required to have an art smock for the day (an old shirt will do!) Thank you for your support.
