Dear Parents,
It is time to begin planning the Grade 5, 6 and 7 ski and snowboard program, which will be held on four Thursdays: January 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2019.
We will be sending home the registration package in early December. Before we can set the price for the program, we need to confirm our final numbers. This will allow us to determine the per student cost of the bus correctly.
The price for the program last year, including the bus, lift tickets, and lessons, was $288 for those students who rented equipment, and $218 for those students who did not need to rent equipment. Both Cypress Mountain and the bus company have raised their prices this year, and so I would anticipate a slightly higher cost for the program.
The ski program is a part of P.E. at St. Joseph the Worker School, and thus it is anticipated that all students will participate. However, if there is a reason that your son or daughter will not be able to participate, please email Mr. Withers (jwithers@stjosephtheworker.ca) by Friday, November 30th. Families who do not contact Mr. Withers by this date will be asked to pay their portion of the cost of the bus.
