Dear Gr. 5 Students and Parents,
We have been reading and writing about the novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. On Wednesday, we will have our second vocabulary quiz for Ch. 7-12 and the students have brought home their Language Arts duo-tang to study the vocabulary words. I just wanted to let you know that they have been working so hard on their writing the past few weeks and I am seeing real progress with many of them.
Also on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 1pm and 7pm the school will present the Christmas Play. Your child has chosen to be either a shepherd or an angel and they will need to be responsible for their own costume. I will provide “head gear” for the shepherds and the angels if necessary though.
The report cards went home today! They all worked very hard this term and I am very pleased with their accomplishments. I am looking forward to continued growth in Term 2.
