Gr. 5 Students and Parents,
Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope everyone had a good and restful holiday.
We will finish our S.S. unit on Mapping with a quiz on Friday. Today we went over what to study and review in the S.S. duo-tang. 7 continents, 5 oceans, countries and capital cities, comparing a map to a globe, lines of latitude and longitude and reading positions on a map using coordinates of lines of latitude and longitude.
Also Wednesday is our first Skiing date. Be at school at 6:50am.
Today several notices went home to families: 1. Re-registration note 2. Information regarding Mr. Lee’s funeral mass 3. Choir note for Mr. Lee’s mass 4. Book order
Also a big thank you to all the families for their good wishes and generous gifts in December. I am always amazed at the giving spirit of the St. Joseph the Worker community and I am so lucky to be a part of it. Thank you again!
