Hello Parents,
I hope you all had a chance to ask your children about their day today. We had some great experiences, starting with a Holy Thursday retreat with our family groups. Then we read another story about Jesus’ last days while we built our Resurrection Garden. If all goes as planned we should see sprouts for Easter week!
A couple of children have brought in their family projects this week, and I just noticed today that the due dates listed were for the week of April 8-12. I would actually love to have them all brought in sometime next week, April 2-5. If that doesn’t fit in with your family schedule, please have your project in by April 9th so we can have them up for Student Led Conferences on the 11th.
Please don’t feel that the project needs to be fancy and glitzy. As long as the project is child-led, tells us who is in your immediate family and a few things about what you like to do when you’re together, you have met the criteria. If you’d like to include grandparents etc. please do, whoever is important to your child. Have fun spending time together retelling your family story!
Easter blessings to you all,
Mrs. Ison, and Mrs. Whitlock from snowy Alberta!
P.S. If you still have your child’s report card cover and envelope please put them in their backpacks so they remember to return it on Tuesday
