This is a quick and friendly reminder that the Grade Six Parents have a meeting in the staff room today, April 8th, at 7:15 p.m. The meeting will inform you about the the upcoming Grade Seven Confirmation reception and will allow you to sign up for preferred duties.
A bright pink notice went out last week but in case you missed it, I have copied the letter below.

Dear Parents,
Each year the Grade 6 families from our School and Religious Ed. Programs host the reception for the Confirmation candidates and their families.
This year the Sacrament of Confirmation for our 68 candidates is going to be conferred in our parish by our Pastor Father David Poirer on Sunday June 2 @ 3:00 PM. The reception for the candidates, their sponsors, families and friends follows the Mass. We expect around 400 people to attend the reception in the Parish Centre, so we call upon your generosity.
Please come to a short meeting on Monday, April 8 at 7:15 PM in the School Staff Room. At this meeting each family will be asked to sign up for one task and one item of food for the reception.
We are counting on your full support to help on this occasion, as next year when your child is confirmed the reception will be provided for your family.
