Today the Grade 4 and 7s made a tasty albeit rather crunchy crisp. We chopped up 4lbs of apples and about the same of rhubarb (it came fresh from the garden today). The fruit filled a 10″ x 15″ pan. It was sprinkled with 1/2 a cup of brown sugar and cinnamon. And then topped with a mixture of 1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar and 3 cups rolled oats. We baked ours for about 15 minutes at 375 degrees (I would normally cook it for 20-25 minutes at 350)

So if anyone enjoyed it at school today they can now help you make it at home!
