Dear Kindergarten Families,

We had a very busy day in Kindergarten!  We started the day off with our Assembly for Children’s Hospital.  It was a success!  All of the children did their part and the “Rap” was cool! Miss Moes (our school nurse) thought we did a fantastic job so she gave each of us our very own “doctor mask”!  We had a special guest helper today too!  Bridget Moon (who went to our school) helped us all day in the classroom.  She had a heart operation at Children’s Hospital.  After recess Mrs. Varju (Katie’s Mom) came in to teach us all about planting bulbs.  She helped each of us plant garlic and a tulip bulb in our planter boxes outside our classroom.  We will have beautiful flowers in the spring and maybe some garlic to eat!  After lunch we made “pumpkin people” to take home.   We also sang a few new songs, practiced some French and learned a new Pumpkin poem!  Whew what a busy day!

Have a wonderful weekend!
