Dear St. Joe’s families,

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers over the past five weeks. As many of you know, I suffered a cardiac arrest in mid-November, and after twelve days of excellent care at VGH, I was released from the hospital. I am now steadily recovering and feeling stronger every day. Although I am not able to hike up mountains, run or ski quite yet, my doctors are confident that I will be able to resume all of my regular activities in time. It was wonderful to attend the Christmas concert on Wednesday night, and to see so many familiar, smiling faces. The happiness and energy of the students reminded me how much I miss being at St. Joe’s, and how much I look forward to returning when my doctors have cleared me to work again.

I hope you had a very merry Christmas and wish you a happy new year.

God bless,

Jamie Withers
