Dear Grade Six Parents,
I look forward to meeting with you tomorrow. Please bring your child with you and be ready to talk about your his or her progress in Grade Six.
What can you expect tomorrow?
All students have completed a self reflection in preparation for our meeting. Tomorrow, they will be ready to talk with you about the strengths they are continuing to develop in Grade Six. In addition, they have identified some personal and academic challenges which they have translate into goals for the remainder of the school year. Our discussion will encourage you to weigh in on these strengths and challenges and will give you a chance to both ask questions and give insight into your child’s learning.
Thank you in advance for participating in this valuable process!
Will there be treats for sale?
Yes! What is business without a little pleasure? For your enjoyment, during conferences some Grade Six students have organized the sale of coffee, treats and home-made stress balls. (Hopefully you will not need one during our meeting!) These items will be for sale in the main entrance of the school all day. Please support this sale as all proceeds will go to our twelve year old sponsored child, Tsege, who lives in Ethiopia. Indulge in a treat and change one girl’s life for the better!
Thank you for your support. See you tomorrow!
Warm regards,
Ms. Andrea Phillips
